Lin Miaoke, a nine-year-old Chinese girl,sang “Ode to the Motherland" at the beginning of the opening ceremony.
In the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony,Lin Miaoke dressed in a red skirt which only cost 150 RMB,received thunderous applause from 90,000-plus spectators at the "Bird's Nest".
